Saturday morning Matt, The Monkey, and I went to Toys R Us looking for some baby proofing items. We needed a gate for the bottom of the stairs, some cabinet door latches, etc. Somehow though we came home with a Little Tikes Cozy Coupe. To be perfectly honest, it was my plan all along. When we got to the ride-on section of the store I pulled down a Cozy Coupe and let The Monkey play with it. He loved it, he couldn’t get enough of getting in and out of the car. It was the funniest thing. Then I convinced Matt that The Monkey needed it. It didn’t take much.
He doesn’t know how to go forwards but he does go backwards. For the most part he just sits in it and watches TV or just gets in and out a lot. He loves it. I took him for a ride this afternoon. I put the bottom plate on so his feet didn’t touch the ground, I pushed it. He had a great time, although he did try to get off the car while it was moving! Daredevil!.
Mom, I think I’ll just push it!
OK, maybe not. Can I get in, please?
OK, I’m in. What do I do now?
Man, this traffic sucks!
That’s it, I’m done!
