Well, I finally made a decision regarding school. No, it’s not UM nor FIU. I decided, after all, to go with my original plan, Barry. Someone very wise told me that if the only thing stopping me from doing what I originally wanted to do was a one hour commute then I’d never be happy doing something else. She’s probably right (thank you Lori). I guess a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do.
I have to say I’m so relieved to know that I will not have to go into debt except maybe $5000 for the last semester, that I don’t have to worry about filling out financial aid forms or looking for scholarships. I am 100% covered by the GI Bill and the Yellow Ribbon program. That is over $27000 of tuition and fees a year. I guess that seriously offsets the pain in the ass the commute is going to be. Now wish me luck that i get into the Cardiovascular Perfusion program for the Fall of 2011, I will be doing program prerequisites these next two semester.
I don’t know if I made the right choice but I am glad I made a choice, especially one that I believe is right at this point in time.
