This blog has become a C25k blog lately. To be honest, there is not a whole lot going on in my life so I don’t have much to talk about. I’ve been working out a lot; running, weight training, some cycling and even some Jillian Michael’s 30 Day Shred. I have a bad case of gadget lust which keeps getting worse and more expensive. Luckily I don’t have money to buy any of these gadgets so we are safe.
I finished Week 7 of Couch to 5k yesterday. I can’t believe I only have two weeks left of the program. It seems almost like a dream. The truth is, I actually look forward to the runs. Yes, they are difficult and they test me but I enjoy them all the same. They are difficult mostly mentally. I get bored out of my mind and I keep looking at the watch constantly. When I think an eternity has passed and I look again, only one minute has gone by. I went to Bally last night and watched E! News while running. Bless those treadmill TVs, they make the run go by quicker. I guess I shouldn’t get used to that though since I won’t be going back and joining. It is still too hot and humid to run outside.
The AC at the community gym is STILL broken. I ran there earlier this week and I thought I was going to die. School doesn’t start until a week (and thus my ability to use the university gym) from now so I still have to figure out where I’m going to run this coming week. I probably will have to suck it up and run in the gym with no AC. I’ve been running after Matt gets home from work because Liev hasn’t been going to daycare.
