Day 15. Timeline of your day:
This really depends on what day of the week it is, whether it’s the week I have my son or not, etc. I’ll give you a timeline of say, a Wednesday of a week I have my son this semester.
6:50am — Get woken up by my son coming into my room asking for waffles. I tell him to go watch Dora and I’ll be there in a minute.
7:00am — Finally get out of bed and toast the waffle. Start getting myself ready while he has breakfast
7:30am to 7:45 — Get him ready.
8:00am — Out the door, hopefully.
8:15am to 8:30 — Arrive at daycare and drop him off, usually closer to 8:15.
8:30am to 8:45 — Arrive at my office.
— to 12:45pm — Work. I eat lunch at my desk shortly before 12:30pm
12:45pm to 1:45pm — Officially go to lunch. I either hide and watch an episode of something, read, or actually go to lunch with a friend if I didn’t eat at my desk.
1:45pm to 5:00pm — work some more
5:00pm — Leave the office and head for daycare
5:20pm — Pick up the kid from daycare and head home.
5:45pm to 6:00pm — Arrive home.
6:30pm — 7:00pm — Serve the kid dinner and have my own dinner. Some times a trip to the playground follows.
8:00pm — Kid bathtime and time to get him ready for bed by putting his pjs on and letting him wind down.
8:30pm — Put the kid to bed. Then I watch an episode of something, read, surf the web, blog, do school work, housework, take a shower, etc.
11:30pm — 12:00am Go to bed.
Not very exciting!
