Last Saturday we rented a ZipCar and spent the day in Long Island. The morning was dedicated to the Old Bethpage Village Restoration, which is a living history, open air museum comprised of 18th and 19th century structures, mostly homes, that were moved there from other parts of Long Island, New York. After lunch we drove to Jones Island, where we stopped at Overlook Beach and were treated to a wonderful sunset in a pretty, deserted beach. Not surprising though, it was cold and windy. We had a great day, and there is a video to prove it! Head over to my YouTube channel and watch the corresponding vlog.
